The Cambridge University Cruising Club (CUCrC) is the home of every sort of small craft sailing at the University – dinghies, boards, foils, and small keel boats.
This is a special non-public page to enable students, invited to assist the Club in some tangible way, to sign up to the Club’s membership requirements without paying a membership fee. An example would be a student with an RYA training qualification who has volunteered to instruct during a Club day trip.
This notice explains in detail how the CU Cruising Club (“we” and “our”) handles and uses the personal data we collect about our members and our past, current and future supporters (“you” and “your”). Developing a better understanding of our members and supporters allows us to keep in touch with you - in order to keep you apprised of our activities and developments, to provide services to you, and to identify ways in which you can support us, through donations or other forms of financial and non-financial support.

This is a special non-public page to enable students and others invited to participate in a Club activity to sign up to the Club’s membership requirements without paying a membership fee. Examples are the Michaelmas Team Racing Trials, and someone drafted in at short notice to sail on a University team because a regular member has dropped out. You can only sail in one weekend event this way, or in two separate one-day events, then you are required to join the Club.
This is a special non-public page to enable students wishing to take part in summer term activities to join the Club as Affiliate Special Members. The cost is £30 and membership is open to registered students aged 18 or over of Cambridge University. Special Affiliates do not have any voting rights in Club matters.
