All three Cambridge teams qualified for BUSA Finals from a field of 15 teams at the 2020 Qualifiers event held at Grafham Water SC on 1/2 February 2020. Loughborough Purple also qualified in 4th place, with Warwick Black, Nottingham Green, and University of East Anglia Yellow having a second chance to qualify at the playoffs. BUSA Finals will be at Grafham just after Easter (13-15 April).
High winds caused the abandonment of Saturday racing. Just 11 races were sailed before winds started gusting over 30 knots. Better weather on Sunday and an early (8:57am!) first race start enabled a full programme to be sailed. A big thank-you to Karen Thomas, Bryan Ormond and their team of helpers and umpires. They worked hard in the face of difficult conditions to make the event a real success. Many thanks also to Grafham Water SC for once again making all their facilities so generously available.
